Yes, there’s a lot happening right now. It’s also Valentine’s Day. And Black History Month. And because so many folks are looking for places to find joy and inspiration, we want to take a moment to recognize the importance of this month and what it means to all of us. Black History Month is an opportunity to highlight the accomplishments and contributions of Black people in America that have historically been overlooked or excluded from most classrooms and history books. It gives everyone an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the history of Black people in America. When we make time and space to learn about each other, to understand someone else’s lived experiences, that feels powerful. That feels like it could change the world. And to all of us at Bonsai, that feels a lot like love. So today, we’re celebrating with a joyful shout out to Black nonprofit leaders working to ensure equity in environmental nonprofit space: CJ Goulding, Boyz N the Wood
